Although he pretended to take the accusations leveled against him by a diverse group of actresses seriously, PageSix now reports that Harvey Weinstein has basically been putting on an act.
'The movie mogul, who volunteered to go to rehab after a wave of allegations of sexual harassment and rape against him from women in Hollywood, isn’t exactly in his element in therapy, falling asleep in sessions or talking on his phone, a source tells Page Six.'
Although he was said to be at an inpatient facility, the truth of the matter is that he's being treated in an outpatient facility, albeit an "intensive" one. This allows him to spend his nights at a hotel. Because, if you're a Hollywood mogul, you're obviously not going to spend your nights in some darn clinic.
A source with knowledge of Weinstein's behavior in the clinic says that, instead of taking responsibility for his actions, the producer pretends that it's all a grand conspiracy meant to take him down. "In one group therapy session," the witness says, "Harvey arrived 15 minutes late. Then, when it was his turn to speak, he launched into a speech about how this is all a conspiracy against him."
What's more, Weinstein apparently falls asleep when other patients are sharing their stories, only to be wakened "by the ringing of his smuggled mobile phone... Harvey jolted awake, jumped up, immediately took the call and then ran out of the room."

Hollywood people are expressing “shock and outrage” that in their den of hedonistic debauchery people like Weinstein behave in a manner consistent with their real values and expectations. The hypocrisy is expected but always amusing.
Therefore, all of his records — and everything about him — are protected by HIPAA, with severe legal penalties for any sort of disclosure.

Honestly, I wouldn’t take it seriously either if I was like Harvey. He must think this is some kind of joke. He’s used to getting what he wants whenever he wants it and he knows that everyone else in his line of work always have and always will do the same thing.
I believe the overwhelming majority of these girls knew how the game was played and now after making millions, after the fact cry foul.

I think the big problem with Harvey is that he didn’t want to give up his cellphone. That’s probably why they had to rig up this off-site hotel deal.
Sex therapy is a joke anyway. People who rape should be behind bars or executed.
Bring him to trial, convict him and put him with the general prison population. He would lose the attitude very fast.

Rush said it and I agree. weinstein’s problem is not so much sex, as is that he is a bully using his power to get what he wants and humiliating the person in the process.
So not taking it seriously would fit that he doesn’t think he needs it. It’s hard to go from top of the stack, to destroyed .. and he doesn’t yet know it’s over for him.
