Sen. John McCain has taken an obvious, strong, personal dislike of President Trump.
The most recent sign of this personal spat came to light in the October 22 online editions of FNC, the NY Post, and many other periodicals, when Sen. McCain called Trump to task for using bone spurs to evade military service during the Vietnam War.
Sen. John McCain took some veiled shots at President Trump over the weekend — slamming high income draft dodgers like himself for using their wealth to avoid serving in the Vietnam War.
“One aspect of the conflict, by the way, that I will never ever countenance is that we drafted the lowest income level of America and the highest income level found a doctor that would say that they had a bone spur,” the Arizona lawmaker told C-SPAN3 in an interview that aired Sunday.

A lot of people got drafted. A lot of people did NOT get drafted for one reason or another. Lots of draftees went to VN. Lots of draftees did NOT go to VN. If they weren't card burning draft dodgers, I give them a pass. I enlisted with no caveats as to what I would or wouldn't do. Didn't and doesn't work that way. You give the military control over your life for whatever period of active duty. My dad was an O-6 USN and that didn't prevent a draft notice from showing up in the mailbox. So as far as mclames assertions about the rich or "connected" avoiding the call. Not. Even algore went to VN and pretty sure his daddy could have kept him from going. I'm sure there were plenty of folks who used connections to prevent their kids from serving but as a whole, I don't think so. Of course I could be wrong. Happened before as Mrs. rktman reminds me. ;-)

Where is Trump’s counterpoint that McStupid used taxpayer money to get a copy of the fake Russian/Democrat dossier on Trump.

Trump is being goaded by McCain.
On one hand Trump might need to fight back, but on the other hand one can assume that the fake news media would be all over that.
There isn’t a real and true conservative in the entire land that has a favorable opinion of McCain. The greatest friend of our Enemy is the traitorous McCain.
McCain should remain on the hook. Who did McCain talk to when arranging for one of his staffers to go pick up the dossier? Who did the staffer meet with to pick up the dossier? Was any money or check exchanged when the aide picked up the dossier? Did McCain, an associate, or other McCain-affiliated organization pay for the creation dossier? Did McCain conspire with the GOPe, Never Trumpers, or the DNC to get the dossier to the FBI? Did the FBI or other US Intel agencies have the dossier written, then arrange to send it to McCain, in order to justify a FISA court to start spying on Trump?
And did McNasty use his father’s influence to stay off the ground and in a cockpit?
Oddly, I find that I have an obvious, strong, personal dislike of John McCain.
One wonders what would have happened to hm had he not been a Privileged Son of a high ranking pol....

I have a bone spur in my heel,developed just a few years ago.Quite painful when walking....and no way would I be able to run.The podiatrist said that surgery can be done but a special insert in my show was a much better choice.Now walking isn't too bad but there's no way that I could have even gotten through BCT with it.

Trump has been very good at picking fights where he knows he will win.

I was a Naval Aviator back then, and the rumor was that John blew himself out of the sky attempting to drop his bombs at too low of an altitude.
He was seen as daredevil, that,was far beyond his level of skill.
