Brigadier General: We’re Allowing Frederica Wilson To Stand On Backs Of Dead Soldiers [VIDEO]

Brigadier Gen. Anthony Tata asked why the media is allowing Florida Democratic Rep. Frederica Wilson to “stand on the backs of four dead soldiers” during a Monday segment on CNN’s “New Day.”

Host Chris Cuomo asked if White House Chief of Staff John Kelly was given special treatment because he lost his son in battle, and Tata said the issue wasn’t with Kelly but with Wilson.

“I think the bigger question is, why are we allowing a congresswoman to stand on the backs of four dead soldiers. Why are we continuing to dig this hole,” Tata said. “I thought there might be one last refuge of reverence here, and that’s military deaths.”

Tata said exploiting military deaths for political gain is “appalling” and cautioned the parties involved to de-escalate the situation out of respect for the families.

“The idea that we’re continuing to use theses military killed in action combat deaths as a political weapon is appalling to me, so I think everybody needs to put down the shovel on this one,” he concluded.

The soldier did know what he was getting into.

Because he chose to do what he did courageously, heroically and without reservation, he should be praised and lionized.

The Commander-In-Chief calls to comfort a grieving family and the thanks he gets from the Democrats is that they twist his words and attack him for trying to comfort the family.

Don't expect the Dems to show that level of respect. The soldier's grieving widow could be groomed to be the next Cindy Sheehen. Sheehan was their ROCK STAR when "Bush lied people died". UNTIL she made a fatal mistake. She dared to criticize our continued involvement in Iraq under the 0bama regime. Suddenly she was damaged goods and a liability, so under the bus she went.

Absolutely! It’s really weird - other than pictures of the four deceased soldiers, not a word about the others. Well, I have to confess I am weaning myself away from the news. There’s nothing at 5 or 6 pm that hasn’t already been covered at 9 am and throughout the day.
