Towards the 10 minute mark, Williams states that Johnson’s body was found with a written note to the wife. It stated that he longer felt he should be serving under a racist president and risking his life. Williams is under the impression that Trump would have been informed about this when he made the sympathy call and that’s why it went a bit rough or something to that effect. Given the hostility of the Mrs. Johnson’s tone and her keeping close company with the race-baiting congress buffoon, it sure seems to fit.
At the same time, assuming Johnson was a Trump hating racist in his own right, it does not necessarily mean he had crossed over and was assisting the enemy by sharing his men’s location with ISIS. It’s a slippery slope argument -and if his unit can not openly speak about his actions, well then it becomes twisted into a ‘hurtful allegation.’
If true, what would the military do about a soldier found to be a treasonous deserter post mortem?

I’m not military and so I won’t pretend to figure out how this purported information would have made it to Williams or anyone else outside their realm. Maybe some other soldiers shared their disgust with their own families back home, IDK.
