Linda Burney, MP, said that it must be acknowledged that the Irish had a historical role in committing atrocities against the Aboriginal people.

Burney’s comments come days after Irish president Michael D. Higgins recognized during a speech in Western Australia the role of the Irish in injustices against the Aboriginal people. […]

The Labor Party MP also spoke about “the warm relationship” between the Irish and Aboriginal people today, and mentioned the number of Aboriginal people who carry an Irish surname, including members of parliament. …

Maybe they should man up and remember their history as a penal colony. Early Australians were the scum of Great Britain and Ireland. So what are you going to do about it?

It MUST! Sure. We'll get right on it. In the meantime, be a sweetheart and go throw a shrimp on the barbie.

Grievance mongering is now a global profession. "Going Obama" indeed.

Isn’t it a fact that in every corner of this world, Aboriginal people’s were living in places which were settled by poeple from other places?? Isn’t this true just about everywhere on the globe?

Then the question is, how do we ever pay enough penance for these sins of the past ?

“I thought they were prisoners.”

That is what I thought, too-with captive “colonists” drop-shipped from the prisons of the British empire to compete for food and shelter with the Aboriginal people, I’m guessing there were more than enough atrocities to go around on both sides...

So some Irish people are cruel to aboriginal people and that affects all Irish in the modern day how? This Irish MP should be ashamed for racially intimidating his own people. I’m tired of all this anti-white intimidation.

Where is it written that minorities and their feelings must be treated as more important than the feelings and lives of whites? What if the atrocities committed by any minority against another or atrocities committed by minorities against whites, though on a smaller scale and on an individual level?

>>and,, and...And??<<

We all know where this is going.

The inevitable demand for investment and a government program to create a time machine so she and select other virtuous liberals can go back in time and teach/lecture at the Irish before they actually commit the offense.

God this same story over and over gets old.
