He shouldn’t go anywhere N Korea...and South Korea is “near”...the capital, which he will visit, is only 25 miles from the border. This is like waving a raw steak at a bear. Not the brightest move.

It looks like the US President has just announced he would not pay the DMZ a visit during his Asian trip.
Speaking as a non-American, I think it is wise. In the current circumstances, who knows what the NK leadership could do? It’s best for him to vosit unannounced anyway.
