Sheer lunacy.
Get the Conservative parts of the state free and clear of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Marin County...

That has got to be the world divide. Who came up with those lines?
To: BenLurkin
A major (liberal) population center in each of the three sections. How convenient.
To: BenLurkin
I thought the coastal rat region was going to secede? And good riddance too.
To: BenLurkin
Looks like Kalefornia wants 6 Democrat Senators instead of two. They are also gerrymandering the population to re-balance the house. Not even remotely reasonable. On the otherhand, if we disband California and make it three territories with no votes in national politics....

Combine the 6 New England states into 1 and I’ll go for it.

Combine the 6 New England states into 1 and I’ll go for it. Make Hawaii a protectorate-end statehood. Puerto Rican independence.

Keep the borders the way they are. Just stand by and wait for the “Big One” to drop LA and SF into the Pacific.

Expel the illegals and get rid of Gov. Moonbeam 2.0, and this idea would have even less support than it does today.

Nor would I. What happened to Jefferson? Those counties sure as heck want nothing to do with the Bay area liberal ones.
To: DoughtyOne
Yup. Dividing line should be north of Sacto.

I dunno. Seems like the "Southern California" section might go red. And maybe the "Northern California" section can overwhelm the gay area. Our main problem is the coastal region which it looks like is almost all contained in the "California" region.
It has potential. I'd have to look at one of those red/blue maps and crunch the numbers to be sure.
