TOWN OF ULSTER, N.Y. >> Town Supervisor James Quigley has delayed a decision on releasing a police dash cam video and audio recording of a May 24 traffic stop of Ulster County Legislator Jennifer Schwartz Berky.
Berky, D-Kingston, was issued a speeding ticket.
The recording was discussed during a Town Board meeting Thursday, and the decision about releasing the recording was deferred after Berky’s attorney, Chris Ragucci, submitted a letter stating the release would “seem to be purely political” because, he said, the town had previously turned down requests for police video.
“I think many of the concerns of our client ... could be remedied by simply denying the request until such time as her trial is completed in November 2017,” Ragucci wrote.
Berky will be on the Nov. 7 ballot for a second two-year term representing Legislature District 7. Her election opponent is city of Kingston Purchasing Agent Brian Woltman, a Republican.

Watched it all the way out of morbid fascination.
When the Cop took back the seatbelt ticket I thought to myself:

If that video had actually been a parody of NY stereotypes, it might have been entertaining instead of excruciating.
For the last few years Ulster has looked as though it is the intended target of a planned “block busting” scheme.
She reminds me of the old joke: “Where do you take a Jewish Princess on a date? For dinner and whine.”

My wife, a Conservative and a Trump voter, drives a Prius. She loves it...and the 43 mpg. I offset the great mpg with my Mustang GT convertible.
Ok, I’ll use her gas too. 2010 GT and a 2012 Shelby GT500
Yet one wonders how somebody supposedly so broke, a “single parent” is able to afford a Prius on $20,000 a year that she quotes as making. Probably disregarding the 80,000 plus in child support she gets a year.
