I think tomorrow is going to be a very, very bad day. All Mueller needs

Mueller works for Trump. The special cousel was requested by the DOJ and appointed by the assistant AG to investigate Russian interference during the 2016 election.
Trump was never the target of the investigation. The DOJ works for Trump. Since they requested the special counsel, Muelled works on behalf of the administration.
When Mueller was interviewed by Trump, it was for the special counsel position, not for the FBI director.
I’m sure the president recieves updates to his DOJ on a regular basis.
