Leander Chosen as Site for Texas Bullion Depository
US News ^

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — An Austin-area city will be home to the Texas Bullion Depository with construction expected to begin early next year.

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar on Friday announced the site will be in Leander (lee-AND'-ehr), about 20 miles (32 kilometers) north of Austin. The exact location hasn't been revealed for security reasons.

Hegar in June announced Lone Star Tangible Assets of Austin was selected to build and operate the depository.

The 2015 Legislature approved a plan to start keeping the state's gold holdings within its own borders, instead of in an underground vault at a New York City bank.

Officials haven't said how much Texas gold will be stored at the new facility.

Looks as if Texas is steadily putting all the pieces together to once again become the Lone Star Republic...if necessary.

When Washington DC utterly bankrupts the USA with social-engineering and socialist politics funded by massive debt in fiat, unbacked worthless Federal Reserve dollars, at least someone will be ready.

about 20 miles north of Austin

NYC is number 1 on North Korea's nuclear target list but Austin of all places is number 3 or 4. Unless Texas is okay with radioactive gold, they are storing it too close to libtard occupied Austin.

An interesting tidbit about the Leander, Tx area

It was near Leander that the Leanderthal Lady, a skeleton dating back 10,000 to 13,000 years,
was discovered; the site was one of the earliest intact burials found in the United States.

Now let’s see if the bank in New York actually lets Texas take back their gold.

Betcha’ they’ll have all sorts of ‘valid’ reasons and reams of bureaucratic paperwork to do before they let go of the gold.

Assuming it’s really there at all.

Why would Austin be #3 or #4 on Krazy Kim’s list?

Maybe because Samsung of South Korea has a microchip manufacturing plant there.

Now let’s see if the bank in New York actually lets Texas take back their gold.

Whatever bank has it can't legally hold on to it if Texas wants it back.
