Congress has been investigating possible Trump campaign collusion with the Kremlin for nearly 10 months, but a top Senate Democrat says she has still not seen evidence to support the allegation.
“Have you seen any evidence that this dirt, these emails, were ever given to the Trump campaign?” CNN’s Jake Tapper asked California Sen. Dianne Feinstein on Sunday.
“Not so far,” replied the Democrat, who is a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee and the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Both panels are investigating various aspects of Russian interference in the presidential campaign.
Tapper was asking Feinstein about revelations this week that former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos told the FBI that he was in talks with a London-based professor with Kremlin connections who claimed in April 2016 to have learned that the Russian government had “dirt” on Hillary Clinton in the form of “thousands” of her emails.

Exactly like the Lame Plame debacle. As a desk jockey she had no protection under the law and putting her name in the paper was not a crime in any way.
Yet, it was constant news and every day they were about to frog march someone off to jail.
1. She continued doing the same job at the same desk for several years.
2. She was offered a lucrative book deal so she quit her job.
3. The offer fell apart once it was clear Karl Rove or some other big wig was not being frog marched off to jail
4. Scooter Libby was sent to a kangaroo court because he remembered some things differently that Tim Russert.
One of the jurors was an author and neighbor of Tim Russert. The had barbeques together.
It was the biggest farce of an investigation I have ever seen.
If Mulhead had something on Trump wouldn’t he act ASAP. Get the guy out now so he can’t do any more damage to the Swamp. Eight months and he gets Manafort for things not related to the election.
Mueller’s job is to come up with evidence, be it manufactured or perjured.
Even the “lying to investigators” is not the primary objective. It is to scatter and confuse any trace of a thread that could lead back to the Obama/Clinton/FBI CF to allowed the transfer of shares in Uranium One to become the property of a Russian conglomerate, and the subsequent shipment of ore through Canada to somewhere in the Middle East.
Agree he’s just burning cash and inflating his ego what a loser.
Democrats claiming there was Russian hacking has less evidence than Bush’s claim of Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq.
