Before knowing almost anything about Sunday’s mass public shooting, gun control advocates are once again calling for more gun control. The attack at the First Baptist Church in tiny Sutherland Springs, Texas, claimed 26 lives and left people with an understandable desire to “do something.” One thing is certain: the proposals put forward by gun control advocates wouldn’t have stopped this attack.
What they ignored was what stopped the killer was a good guy with a gun. As one witness said, without the good guy with a gun it “would have been much worse.” If more people were carrying guns, the attack might have been stopped even faster and more lives would have been saved.

if the people at the Pentagon had done their job and entered his information into the system, the guy would have had a much harder time getting his guns..

At what time did our paid federal and state workers decide to stop doing their job properly??? Illegal aliens running thru the country, Immigration laws flauted, the DOJ running guns, Congress not investigating clear law-breaking...
What’s needed is to allow people to protect themselves in high-risk locations.
Not more gun control. It takes only one armed person to deter a mass murderer.
Evil people are not stupid. They can be deterred by the threat or use of force.
They should fixate on all the laws that that lunatic broke that _did not_ stop his attack.
The second they learned that they almost certainly won't be fired for doing their job improperly.
Looks like there should be a flurry of General Courts Martials in the Air Force JAG service for gross incompetence and neglect.
I plan on protecting my family at ‘all risk’ locations. The church shooting wasn’t exactly a high risk location. Carry 24/7/365
Liberals are focused on the hardware. When what they should be dealing with are human values.

Any place filled with lots of unarmed people are literally sitting duck shooting galleries.. like churches.
And mass murderers know this, which is why they target them.

well, they’ll get a surprise if they show up to Mass in my area! I quit going unarmed about 20 years ago. I don’t go to the grocery store for a gallon of milk without one. If you only carry when you think you’ll need it, you’ll need it when you don’t have it.
For the Air Force, we are probably talking about entering 250 people a year into the database, roughly 40 manhours of work.

The Frogs have some of the world's strictest gun control laws, but said laws didn't prevent a group of depraved terrorists from using fully-automatic AKs to murder over 130 people.
