You had to know it was coming. In the wake of two deadly mass shootings where a maniac happened to choose an AR-15 style rifle to unleash his mayhem with, you had to know that Sen. Dianne Feinstein would reintroduce an assault weapon ban. Well, folks, its here now.

What about the good guy who used the same rifle to stop the bad guy?
Fortunately this has exactly zero chance of passing... :-)
They can pass all the laws they want to. The “law” in this country means nothing.
None of the current laws are observed by these wing-nuts, but Diane is confident they will observe the next law she passes.
M E N T A L L Y . I L L
Isn’t it against the law to shoot people?
Isn’t it against the law to commit murder?
Isn’t it against the law to commit mass murder?
Isn’t it against the law to shoot infants and children?
Isn’t it against the law to enter a church and start shooting everyone in sight?
Diane, please tell me you have the common sense to realize one more law will accomplish nothing.
Does anyone know what the compliance rate would be for any such illegal law? 2 percent like in ny and mass? Or probably less on a nationwide basis since ny and mass have such high concentrations of leftist commie type idiots
“They can pass all the laws they want to. The law in this country means nothing.”
This X10
Screw em, even if it ever did pass.
Here are three simple and inconvenient facts about the Sutherland Springs shooting:
1. Under current gun control laws, it was illegal for the shooter to buy or possess guns, because he was convicted in a general court martial, received a bad conduct discharge, and served a year in jail for brutally beating and severely injuring his wife and her child. That is both the equivalent of a felony conviction and a domestic violence conviction, either of which disqualified him from ever purchasing or possessing any firearms under federal law.
2. Under current gun control laws, the shooter had to pass a federal background check in order to buy a gun. After his felony domestic violence conviction, he passed four background checks and illegally purchased four guns because the federal government screwed up and did not enter his conviction into the gun control database. (GASP! The government screwed up? Say it isn’t so!) He also had to lie several times on the ATF Firearms Transaction form, but I doubt anyone who is illegally purchasing a firearm is going to truthfully fill out the form any more than he is going to comply with a no guns allowed sign.
3. The only reason that the shooter stopped killing people is because a church neighbor, who had legally purchased his own AR-15 rifle (and who was formerly an NRA instructor), used it to shoot the bastard and then chased him down. The police first arrived about 10 minutes after the shooter was dead.
Also, it should be mentioned that it is already quite illegal to use a gun to murder people.
So what magic new gun control law would have stopped this killer from buying and using a gun to murder people and not have prevented the neighbor from buying and using a gun to stop him?
My rifle self identifies as a defense rifle. They should respect its wishes and they should set up sanctuary cities for said rifles.
I will go along with 1 simple amendment
No private citizen shall be held liable under this law unless and until it has been demonstrated that there has been 100% compliance by All persons classified as Public Employee’s in the US.

With everything the RINO’s have been doing to destroy America, I wouldn’t be shocked if they brought this up for a vote.
They probably have several bills stashed away and just wait till there is a killing to rush the bill out to be voted on before opposition can be mustered against it.
This is what California did when they released Pat Purdy from a mental institution. He then shot up the Stockton school yard. California even let him buy a handgun, passing all the background checks and waiting periods. He bought his rifle out of state.
Your move.

The chainsaw attachment makes these guns dangerous.
