Based on his social media profiles, Boucher was fervently anti-Trump and anti-Republican. Seven neighbors think the landscaping excuse is bogus as does Sen. Paul...

I understand being cautious about assigning motive until the facts provide one, but what’s left here? Clearly, everyone, including Paul believe the defendant’s excuse is just that.

More frightening than the attack itself is the relative neglect this story has received. The press ought to be knocking down doors trying to get to the bottom of this. A lawmaker attacked in his own homes and for what look to be politically motivated reasons is no small occurrence and the latest troubling development in the normalization of violent behavior aimed at differing opinions.

To the media, politically motivated attacks are perfectly acceptable, as long as they are directed against conservatives.

I think it was politically motivated. However, it doesn’t matter. An attack from behind on a defenseless person is a crime. Throw the bum in jail.

It’s open season on any real conservative or real independent Maverick. And that includes violence. Don’t forget we’ve had a sniper shooting down conservative Republicans at a sporting event. They will do anything to flood this country with their precious illegal immigrants that’s the bottom line.

...and the media cannot figure out a motive. They are at a loss.

An assault on a member of Congress for political reasons carries a much stiffer penalty including serious prison time.

We have seen Trump’s political supporters including women beaten. We had a sniper shooting conservative Representatives at a baseball game. Accept the fact they do not care what is done to us including murder. After all, they claim we are racist killers. This is Civil War.

More frightening than the attack itself is the relative neglect this story has received. The press ought to be knocking down doors trying to get to the bottom of this.

And we all know that if a Conservative neighbor did this to a Democrat legislator there would be no end to the coverage and the long insinuation that Trump is inciting his base and dividing America.

Moreover, the Left has been on a violent rampage, with simulated beheadings, standing over a dead body with a Trump toe tag, attempting to assassinate Republican legislators at a softball game. The Left is out. of. control. and the corrupt MSM are covering for them in tacit approval.

Let’s see...Steve Scalise, Rand Paul, the Trump supporters in San Jose, Berkeley and anywhere across the country where the Antifa scum appear, Mandalay Bay, Sutherland Springs....

I’d say there’s a violent terrorist war going on against Conservatives and especially Christian Conservatives.

Maybe Bob Mueller would like to look into that.

Nah, he’s too busy trying to frame somebody for something he dredged up outta the past so he can squeeze them into saying something bad about the Big Guy.

Bob Mueller? Maybe Jeff Sessions could look into it. Or anything.

I don’t much care what the MSM is doing, I want to know why Federal agents have not arrested this guy for Federal crimes.

Considering the low bond and lightness of charges to Dr. Boucher, a pain management specialist, one has to wonder who, and how many of the courthouse crew, go to him for their meds.

The death penalty should be an option for anyone who physically attacks ANY elected official. That is an attack on our system of government and on all the people and is tantamount to treason and insurrection.

He should have been arrested on federal charges from the git-go and the burden of proof put on him to make a convincing argument that his attack was not politically motivated. And his medical license should be suspended yesterday.

How about this...Cliven Bundy, land dispute with feds: no pre-trial release, characterized as domestic terrorist

Whack job, attempted murder on a conservative R Senator: misdemeanor, bailed out, no big deal, characterized as landscaping disagreement

=open season on conservatives, Christians, libertarians, constitutionalists

Correct- to THIS media. Nazi Germany censored all opposition in the press- dissenting voices were sent to concentration camps, murdered in broad daylight or simply went “missing” abruptly— and the writers and publishers shut down in this way- something obamaumao was steering towards (he and his “federalized national police” idea- a US Geheim Staats Polizei-Gestapo. Due to the crackdown on freedom of the press no newspaper could halt or oppose Hitler’s steps in the 1930s. Much as Hillary was trying to take over/censor the internet prior to her ascending the “throne” as the anointed one. One has to look at newspapers prior to 1933 to find any who spoke out against.

The modern equivalent at this point has to be struggling internet news services, which we must support. We cannot allow the WaPo and the ridiculously financed losing NY Times to direct anything, and what’s more— we should ignore and advocate ignoring... national television news/commentary. Call them out. They are propaganda— they are not the news.
