The AMA's endorsement of child-rearing in same-sex marriages has drawn protests from doctors and professors who accuse President Michael Gannon of ignoring adverse research in favour of dangerous, politically correct myths. An overwhelming body of research supports their case
The Australian Medical Association (AMA) is calling on the federal parliament to legislate for same-sex marriage. In so doing, the AMA has released an official statement declaring that it is the right of any adult and their consenting adult partner to have their relationship recognised under the Marriage Act 1961, regardless of gender.[1] AMA President, Dr Michael Gannon, has even written to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Opposition Leader Bill Shorten, urging a bipartisan approach to same-sex marriage.[2]
In backing same-sex marriage, the AMA has resorted to citing controversial claims about childrens welfare in same-sex parented families. Remarkably, the AMA has released a document stating that there is no peer-reviewed study suggesting children of same-same couples struggle more than those of traditional families. According to the AMA, there is no putative, peer-reviewed evidence to suggest that children raised in same-sex parented families suffer poorer health or psychosocial outcomes as a direct result of the sexual orientation of their parents or carers.[3]
This is an astonishing statement by a medical association. The AMA is evidently oblivious to the role played by biological parents in the raising of children.

the manipulation or falsification of science for political purposes supposedly went out of favor with the Lysenko affair in communist USSR decades ago
It is normal and natural for a child to have one female parent and one male parent. Male and female are different. The male represents going out and facing the world, plus authority. The female represents learning things, and compassion. We need one of each.
Denying this is denying human nature.
The AMA is going to look very stupid in 15-20 years when the next generation is grown and the obvious issues emerge.
it is not only denying human nature, it is trying to manipulate people to NOT possess any more humanity or human nature so that they are more manipulatable and dependent on the politicians, state

I,a guy,am damn glad to have had a good, decent, sane and admirable mother who taught me the quiet wisdom, gentleness and experience that a woman can best provide. And I'm damn glad that I had a good, decent, sane and admirable father who taught me the hard work, respect and principles that a man can best provide.
That will give them plenty of time to find scapegoats.
They are still looking for scapegoats for the damage done by the sexual revolution.
It’s obvious that children, who admittedly will almost all turn out to be heterosexual, God willing, need the modeling of the “orientation” that they will most likely possess. Why doesn’t this argument carry more weight when it comes to placement for adoption?
They are still trying to recover from the cholesterol fiasco, sort of sidling backwards and sideward at the same time so no one notices that statins are making people sick & don’t have much utility not to mention that they didn’t know enough to start making pronouncements about eating cholesterol vs cholesterol generated in the body.
The propaganda to promote homosexuality is on 24/7. It never stops.
That’s the horrific truth.
