I read Schumer say “It’s up to the people of Alabama.” They’re literally stepping back, taking the “high road” and laughing at the GOP circular firing squad.
It is simply the California playbook that was used to steal the State of California, brought out to the national level. Short of murder, there really should be no 40 year old crime or accusation that hurts someone’s chances to be an elected official. If that was still a part of their character, the accusations would not be 40 years old.
