I haven’t liked what I read.

Republicans had 7 years to come up with a plan to repeal and replace obamacare. Nothing.

They’ve had years to come up with a good tax plan that they could get a consensus of republicans to support. Nothing.

Have they gotten anything done since they’ve had both houses of congress? They’re as bad as democrats.

The gop is just the other faction of the uniparty. No real difference in philosophy between themselves and the dems.

Politics is a scam and we’re suckers for playing.

The Republicans are falling for the Democrat propaganda: We have to pay for tax cuts!

Check out JFK’s speech in 1961 - a tax cut will pay for itself in the long run!

>>>Republicans had 7 years to come up with a plan to repeal and replace obamacare.

Actually, they ran for seven years on a platform of repeal. It was the President who ran on repeal and replace, stating he had a plan that would expand coverage and reduce prices.

The President won with a mandate and the Senate lost a few seats, so they adopted repeal and replace, but then were not able to carry through. Maybe one of these days the President will present his plan and they can try to get that passed.

Johnson is the designated hitter on this one so McCain doesnt have to take the heat like he did on Obamacare repeal.

This whole “Byrd Rule” has to go.
Real tax cuts usually result in short term deficit followed by economic expansion.
In the end - everyone wins, and the government collects more tax revenue.

This bill forces one group to “pay for” someone else’s cut.

Those people will necessarily have to cut back on household spending.

Just cut everyone’s taxes! Let’s start acting like we WON.

But lyin’ Ryan can crow, “it fits on a postcard.”

So does this:

1. How much did you make this year.
2. Please send it in.

As a small business owner and longtime conservative, the GOP sucks. Tax reform my bleeding buttocks.

Flat tax for all—income, capital gains and eliminate non-profit status. Tax breaks for charities are just another way to exert government control.

They’re as bad as democrats.

They're WORSE than DimocRATS. At least Dims tell you of their devious plans and get them done. "republicans" tell us what they're going to do and then DON'T get them done. And at best, they offer some milquetoast "well .. you're going to have to like it because this is all you're going to get." The "republican" Party is dead and needs to be dropped off of a cliff!

No. They’re worse than democrats. At least the RATS exhibit some kind of loyalty to their own party and occasionally get things done (not good things, mind you - but things).

We might well have a Congress full of goldfish or rocks for all the good these worthless Republican shitheads do us.
