How many people do you have to kill
before you can convicted of murder?
As OJ demonstrated, more than two.

>>Glasgow’s goal is to get as many felons as possible signed up to vote...

Because they have a track record of being stupid? Perhaps stupid enough to vote for Rat dirtbags?

He’ll claim they can vote for whoever they want (after he has already primed them on exactly who to vote for).

And a liberal judge somewhere will say Ummm Hmmm. That right. Criminal So and So voted Republican. Just ask him.

From my observations, convicted felons are like most people, divided about 50/50 politically.

Blacks vote 90% Democrat, so black convicts probably do too.

I’d say probably more like 98%-99%; in all likelihood.

Felons are not Ordinary People.

At least not in my neighborhood.

A reasonable approach.

It says volumes about the democrats who can’t win without the votes of people who could not care less about the rights of others.

Go DNC! You are casting yourselves as a criminal syndicate, not politics.

I agree.

Had a convicted felon (white guy) trying to buy my gun in a Wal*Mart parking lot couple months back. That was a close one. Thanks be to God I talked him out of it. One of those things you really don’t expect and then all of a sudden you’re dealing with it.

I won’t be caught off-guard in such a scenarios like that again. I had no idea who I was about to be talking to as I removed the gun from the trunk (CC is legal in my state).

I hope to get a smaller weapon that is easier to conceal at some point. Can’t do it right now.

What’s the ratio of register voters in Alabama. Could this make a difference?

SOB’s evil rats found a new way to game the system!! It worked in VA in the presidential election where the beast won by a few thousand felon votes!!! Where is the governor? Do the felons have the right to vote in Alabama?

I am not necessarily against restoration of a felon’s right to vote.

A felon who has fully served his sentence and then has proved that he has reformed and become a good citizen should be able to have his rights as a citizen fully restored.

The felon should be able to petition the courts to have his rights restore supplying proof his rehabilitation such as affidavits supporting his petition from members of the community.

The felon should of course have not committed any crimes for an extended period of time. And of course not be in jail. The article has as an example a felon in jail registering to vote. This is totally unacceptable to me. There should be no voting while in jail. Felon or not.

How did you find out he was a felon?

I told him even if I ever was gonna sell it ALL of my guns, bought or sold, go through my FFL.

He then admits he’s a felon.

>>>If one has ‘paid their debt to society’, shouldn’t all of their Constitutional rights (including 2A) be restored?<<<

Absolutely not. Remember the old saying, if you don’t want to do the time, don’t do the Crime.

Two of the Penalties for committing a Felony are (1) Losing your Right to Vote and (2) losing your Right to Keep and Bear Arms. At least that is what I was taught growing up.

Imprisonment and / or the Death Penalty are the other Penalties depending on what Felonies you Commit.

Two requirements for voting

1. Must be willing to bear arms if needed to defend the Constitution.
2. Must pay taxes or “no representation without taxation”.

There is very little that should disallow a citizen from voting.

Agreed.

I certainly will never support convicted felons owning guns. Only if there was solid proof a false conviction and it was overturned.

And no, I don’t like the idea of them voting. The Democrats already have too much fraud going on.
