Since when do Senators “serve under” a president?

Wow! If he’s not on drugs, this is an amazing turn-around...

Great, except the Legislative Branch doesn’t serve “under” the Executive Branch. Congress serves the American People “with” the President.

Senator, you're not afraid of making decisions either. It's just too bad you've made so many wrong ones. (Liberty Score 27%). You see, without a sound mind, courage is a detriment.

Sounds like Orrin has decided to run for another term.

Orin Hatch has “served under” way too many Presidents.

President Trump, making the decisions the eunuchs of congress have not been able to make.

The right decisions.

Wow. OK I revise my earlier statement. There are 2 good conservative and decent Senators in the US Senate.

Regardless of Hatch’s intentions, I’m glad he said these exact words. The words are important. They accurately illustrate what Trump is.

I was thinking about this yesterday to myself, and I was thinking that Trump is simply trying to run things like a business. Successful businesses require good and strong decision-makers. And strong decision-making is not at all a ubiquitous skill, even among businessmen. I work with/for one, and I suck at it myself. It’s a difficult skill.

So, I observe Trump, and he’s burning through all these people in the first year of his administration, something you never see from a President. Well, that’s because all other Presidents are politically calculating everything; Trump just says, “Well, you’re not going to work out. I’ve got no time for this. I’ve got to get somebody else who will.” Trust me, that’s more laudable in the big picture than “loyalty.” The big picture is the United States of America.

Trump sees the clear bullshit being pulled on Moore. Trump says, “I’m sticking with this guy. He’s going to be good. He’s getting character assassinated. I’m deciding right now not to throw him under the bus instead of letting polls and advisors decide for me.”

It’s to Hatch’s credit that he said something of substance about Trump, regardless of perceived intent.

Orrin Hatch is a strange duck. He’s not easy to pigeonhole.

Carter. Bush. Clinton. Bush. Obama.

I guess so.

In 1976, in his first run for public office, Hatch was elected to the United States Senate, defeating Democrat Frank Moss, a three-term incumbent. Among other issues, Hatch criticized Moss's 18-year tenure in the Senate, saying "What do you call a Senator who's served in office for 18 years? You call him home." Hatch argued that many Senators, including Moss, had lost touch with their constituents. -- Wikipedia
