The bullet bounced off the pier’s concrete ground before striking Steinle in the back and piercing her heart.

concrete ground? What school did the author attend?

It’s the job of a defense attorney to give the best possible defense to his client.

It’s the job of the Jury to reject that defense if the defendant is clearly guilty.

Unfortunately it seems that some on this jury are more interested in playing politics than doing their job

It would be Karma if the mayor and council members were shot by an illegal criminal.

Please! The hoi-paloi never mingle w/ the great unwashed; especially not w/o the vast protections provided by taxpayer $$$ (denied too, to the great unwashed).

Edwards was ridiculed for being correct: There are 2 America’s and the chasm is widening bigger/faster every year.

The reason the killer only had “ brief possession “ of the murder weapon was because he had just stolen it out of the unlocked car of a government BLM agent...

I keep wondering why he was not charged with stealing the gun, instead of merely possessing it. And, it seems the gun was government property -- wouldn't that also bring a federal charge of stealing government property?

Not wishing it, but absolute karma would require the loss of their children.

The shithead liberals in cali are going to protect this murder to the very end.

I believe that at this point in time this KILLER should be put in a big federal prison, in the general population, and the guards should all go on a coffee break.

Would be interesting to note how many of the jurors exhibit sudden wealth that they didn’t have before the trial.

Why not award him some citizenship so he won’t have that hanging over his head either...Maybe set him up in a nice apartment so he will no longer be a vagrant...

“I personally can’t blame these defense attorneys for doing what’s best for their client, no matter how much I disagree with them.”

They’re also officers of the Court.

Not to mention they whole “right thing”.

So I can blame them. And I do.
