Next will be a certified letter from Matt Gonzalez to the Steinle family stating proudly that he could not care less about their daughter being shot and killed in our city. Furthermore, he will add that he hopes the pain they feel will last a very long time.

These attorneys need to vanish, never to be heard from again.

That would send a message.

If he was “shooting at a sealion”, wouldn’t that violate the Endangered Species Act?

If conviction is inconsistent with the jury’s larger acquittal, then there is grounds for appeal to the California supreme court, the jury was confused and they get a retrial.

No, no.

Next will be asking for a letter of apology from the Steinle family for being such bigots and a demand that they pay for the pain and suffering of the perp.

I hope they let him off.

I want to see 30-40 armed U.S. marshals take custody.
Throw in a tank or two too.

Since bouncing bullets into someone is now legal, perhaps this attorney should experience some legal activity.

It would be Karma if the mayor and council members were shot by an illegal criminal.

This is all horrifying and I can’t imagine the pain Steinle’s family is feeling.

The only positive side to this is that in 2020 Progressives everywhere will realize that this travesty undid all the damage they worked so hard to do to Trump and helped to re-elect him.

““momentary” possession of a gun is not necessarily a crime.”

yes, maybe if you pick it up and no one gets hurt/killed.

Hurt or killed then yes that is a problem, likely some sort of crime BECAUSE you “momentarily” possessed the gun.

..followed by a proclamation by the city council that July 1st. will be forever known as Jose Inez Garcia Zarate Day.
