(interruption) I’m just… (interruption) He requested a… He wanted to get to three million followers on Twitter or Facebook. I don’t know why. Is that a crime, not knowing why? They’re telling me, “Be careful what you say.”
I don’t know why he wants three million followers. It’s not the point. The point is when he requested it, many of the people following him dropped. They stopped following him. He apparently made a plea that he wanted to get to three million (I don’t know whether it’s Twitter or Facebook followers), and what happened was the followers he did have unfollowed him. (interruption) Have I created a headline here with this? (interruption) All right. (interruption) You didn’t know about that? (interruption) You didn’t know about that. See, I passed on information.

Twitter will erupt with cheers when that weak minded posturing SOB assumes room temp.
He so fits the senate. Not smart, no morals, no abilities save for lying and meaningless speeches.

Anything who thinks he was ever a hero is ill-informed, gullible or both.
Anything = Anyone.
Now, now. It’s more accurate to point out he is a Cold War ace. For the Soviet Union. Crashed, burned up, blew up or got shot down in five US Navy planes.
Politicians think followers on social media are supporters. Maybe. A lot of followers generally does mean a lot of support. Some are like me though, I was following McCain just so I would know about his statements/plans/whatever. When he wanted a huge number of followers, I unfollowed him so I would not be counted as a supporter. I have a feeling many others did the same.
I think he was trying be a martyr or indulging some stupid macho hangup, that wasn’t heroic, it was dumb. He didn’t help a single person by refusing to go home when they offered to let him. Heroic would be leaving then getting back in the saddle and kicking their butts in lieu of thanks.
But what do I know.
