Not sure what story you are reading. The lede matches the headline. Also, no one would even read a story with the headline you suggest. If “Jeopardy!” isn’t among the first three words of the headline, it has failed its job.
Also too, I appreciate that they got the title of the show correct by including the exclamation point.

Just a guess...
What would drive an otherwise normal person to break into a computer to access emails?
It narrows down the issues pretty clearly.
My guess is she was looking to either delete a file/photo, or she was looking to spy on someone (an affair partner, spouse, etc.)
Usually, this just gets your reprimanded or fired. It must be juicy. Or...she was planting something.

Stephanie Jass... unauthorized access to a computer in Adrian College, where she taught, and using it to commit a crime... allegedly accessed email accounts of co-workers at Adrian College... In 2012 she held the record for most consecutive wins by a woman on “Jeopardy!” after winning seven games in a row... Police allegedly started investigating Jass after staff members at the college complained.
She once wished we could all go back and
"live like Laura Ingalls Wilder.
