Ah, so you didn’t need the explanation about how they get the squirts when they get on fresh grass in the spring!
My cousins had a custom hay making business. I helped ‘em some. Mancos, Bayfield, etc. I’ve cut hay in a swather all along that corridor. Good times.
I’ve also poked around La Plata Canyon. Befriended an old dude that was still working a mine up there. I forget his name; it’s been 21 years since I left.
I forgot to say the truck stops were in Colorado Springs, not Durango
Ivee been to Farmington a lot, I visit Durango (live near ABQ)
What a sad time for the families and friends of all those shot by this as yet unnamed evildoer.
I probably should mention that I’ve discussed this issue a LOT even before the internet existed. I’ve seen and spent a great deal of tim analyzing over the decades everything you posted there. It is actually part of WHY I switched.
And to be clear, the information is partial, anyway, so we can’t really know, though we will when it happens - if we are studied up on it. I sure would like to know what the seven thunders said. :)
I used to get into arguments about how I was right and the other guy is wrong about this. I now have great confidence that we are all wrong, but right in some ways, and when it happens it will be obvious to those of us who had been studying it.
That is for Aztec High School students. Sorry I didn’t clarify that.
Those figures are from Wikipedia.
First time I EVER saw a gun at school was back in 1956 McCormick school in Farmington. Some kid brought an old military muzzle loading pistol, from the early 1800s, to school for “Show and Tell”. No one went into a panic or lockdown.
We all thought it was Kool! But then, those were more innocent times, even though Farmington still had a high crime rate back then.
I used to shoe horses up La Plata Canyon 43 years ago. Later lived south down into New Mexico on the La Plata Highway.
I do miss it!
That was a time when common sense ruled.
You have a pretty good idea about the area.
No problem.
Just another day in the BARRIO. I don't even start breathing fast until the body count hits ten.
Well, I will be sure to wave at you while I fly away to meet my LORD in the air. You can stay here and think you need to be purified, or whatever it is you folks believe you have to do to make it all good with the LORD. But, James made it clear and so did Paul. NO WORKS. Just faith in WHAT He did. That He did on the Cross. I have no worries at all about that belief, none at all.
Just faith in WHAT He did. That He did on the Cross.Just faith in WHAT He did. That He did on the Cross.
