I agree it’s not A or B. I just used two extremes to illustrate the point that locking people up is not what’s important. Reform is.
Real reform is a long term process and needs the continued support of the people. Sometimes locking people up makes people think it’s just political retribution and any chance of a real popular movement is lost.
That’s all I’m saying. I just don’t care if they get locked up - it could backfire - and besides, there are more important things.
“If Hillary or Comey ever wound up in a jail cell, it would always go down in the history books as some sort of stab in the back or witch hunt. Just Trump being vindictive, you know?”
i thought the victor wrote history, not the vanquished?
“Criminals in government must have fear of losing their freedom or they will have no limits to the power they will seek or the acts they will commit to get it and maintain it.”
AMEN! and such UNcommon sense.
Well, that really narrows it down.
Both need to be done.
Why think small? Go for both.
I would prefer to see "dozens of top crooked Democrat leftists, including the Clintons" with crooked leftist pilots, all loaded onto a 747, which would then have "an unfortunate encounter with a mountain top".
Get the rope. Thanks Behind Liberal Lines.
It there anyone on Mueller’s team who isn’t a Democrat Party hack Stasi-wannabe? If so, get the hell out of there now and save what is left of your honor. The others have none to save.
#52. Well, you know what the “right hand” is used for.
Yup.
Swamp meet the informed citizen.
>> All this reeks like a week old homicide scene.
With a complicit MSM.

EXPOSE? THEM!! Just like he is doing!!

I don't think Washington can be reformed, just contained when decent people are running the show. The petty and vindictive lady at the IRS that was hassling tea party orgs is an example. She was free to roam during the Obama years, but probably was on a leash during the Bush years..
Yeah, historians have made the observation that great advancements in Liberty (like American Revolution/Declaration/Constitution) happen all at once, and then there is a slow, inevitable decline as people give up their freedom in return for the false promises and misguided idealism of socialism.
There are no examples of a civilization beginning its decline but then making an orderly mid course correction and returning to a state of liberty. It has to be a bloody revolution.
The US began its irreversible decline 240 years ago and is well on its way toward tyranny, as the public vote for an ever bigger and more intrusive central government, with wealth redistribution and social conformity replacing individual freedom and private property rights as their moral centerpieces.
So, I have no illusions that we can peacefully turn things around. I have to say though, Trump is amazing - I am going to cheer him on, remain enthusiastic and optimistic as long as he is willing to keep up the fight. It’s the least I can do.
I live in a liberal enclave (college town) with many educated people living within my voting district. On election day 2008 I had to suffer long lines with these educated people spouting off euphqorical nonsense. Obama was the second coming, blah, blah and etc. It was mass hysteria. The dems went from thinking they had elections locked up for at least a generation to losing all branches of government in 8 years. The only thing they have left in their tool kit is to attempt a coup with the backing of some Rino never Trumpers.
