Comedian Rosie O’Donnell in a tweet late Tuesday offered millions in cash to senators who vote against the Republican tax plan.

Her tweet called specifically on Republican Sens. Jeff Flake of Arizona and Susan Collins of Maine. Ms. O’Donnell offered $2 million to each senator to vote no. She then followed up telling Ms. Collins specifically to call if she wanted to negotiate.

Offering money to a lawmaker in exchange for changing a vote, or voting a particular way, is illegal.

Isn’t that illegal? Or is it only illegal of the senators accepted it and changed their vote?

Attempted bribery? Hello?

If we had a functioning DOJ I suspect she’d be in some hot water this morning.

Several billionaires have done the same thing about climate change legislation. Specific payment (er, campaign donations) worth hundreds of millions for votes. But - as liberals - they have no laws they are required to follow by Obola’s FBI-DOJ-IRS-FEC ....

“Isn’t this against the law?”

Seems so. Apparently anonymous liberal donors were funneling money through Lisa Bloom to pay women to make accusations against Moore. attorneys I’ve heard say that’s ilegal. Seems that Rosie giving money to bribe legislators would be illegal as well. (Even though lobbyists do it every day.)
