Please don’t tell me that you were one of those #NeverTrumpers that think that President Trump is an idiot. Even before Trump became president he was winning on an epic scale and now that he is the elected President of the United States he is winning for America on a global scale.

I agree. And the warm way the top people in Congress interacted with Trump on the White House lawn seemed out of context with the “war” going on with the GOP establishment.
To me, it proves that a lot of rhetoric was just that. Trump has been forging great relationships with Congress. Many — not all — the open arguments that have been publicized were media hype and manufactured theater to move the bigger agenda that just passed.
Steve Bannon on the war path in recent months was also key. Bannon is the Voldemort whose name must not be uttered, and yet he also did a great job of arm twisting the GOPe to back the MAGA agenda.
