Senator Lindsey Graham Confirmed The Steele Dossier Was Used For 2016 FISA Warrant (trunc.)

Everyone suspected the sketchy Steele Dossier was what corrupt FBI and DOJ officials used to get the October 2016 FISA warrant against Trump. FBI and DOJ officials refuse to answer that question publicly.

Despite a hundred different ways congressional investigators have asked the question, and despite numerous on-camera questions to FBI and DOJ officials about the 2016 FISA process, no-one had definitively confirmed the Christopher Steele ‘Russian Dossier’ was the underlying evidence for the 2016 FISA application to gain wiretaps and electronic surveillance upon presidential candidate Donald Trump. UNTIL NOW.

Senator Lindsey Graham just confirmed the sketchy Steele Dossier was used to get the wiretap and surveillance warrant from the FISA court. Brian Kilmead understood what he was hearing was serious, but didn’t quite catch the specific gravity of it. Watch at 04:10:

The is a great article, the best part of which is the embedded video of yesterday night's interview of Lindsey Graham by Brian Kilmeade. There are two great things in it: 1) Graham suggests there may be a deal involving DACA, the important elements of which will be giving DACA in return for enforceable border security, including a wall, elimination of chain immigration, and ending the diversity lottery; and 2) an independent counsel needs to be appointed to investigate the Steele Dossier and how it was used by DOJ. He strongly implies, but doesn't directly state, that the Dossier was fraudulently used to obtain the October 2016 FISA warrant to surveil Trump Tower.

Very clever how Kilmeade set him up as one who has come to be supportive of Trump’s policies. Linda Graham was clearly nervous, trying to talk about what he learned from his deeper dive into the dossier while not violating confidentiality. Flaws and all, Graham is still a patriot who sees the damage that has been done to our country, and as a lawyer, the illegality of these acts.

Something Graham does talk about is that Mueller isn’t looking into the dossier. Don’t see how that’s possible unless he already knows it’s fraudulent. If that’s the case ‘the chattering class here’ has a lot to talk about.

I don’t think they’ll be a deal on DACA or immigration. Because the immigrant lobby in Congress wants everything they want, while giving assurances to the President that they’ll give him what he wants.

I think the rub is going to be, when the President says, OK. And then says, “as soon as all of you pass a law that outlines and enforces the 71 policy directives, on immigration, that I proposed earlier this year, we’ll get right to work on DACA”. He’ll have backed them into a corner and they’ll have two choices: 1) implement his agenda, which eliminates damn near everything and funds the wall, in exchange for what would be a useless, DACA decision ... OR ... 2) walk away from the table, ending DACA once and for all, and he gets the funding and everything else, from somewhere else.

Next up, who was involved and presenting this “evidence” before the FISA court to convince them to spy on the Trump campaign. Who was proactively promoting the dossier as a reason to spy and unmask?
