The father of the family killed in a fiery Costa Rican plane crash was a senior investor at Bridgewater Associates, the giant hedge fund headed by billionaire Ray Dalio.
Bruce Steinberg — who, along with his wife, Irene, and three sons, Zachary, William and Matthew, was among 12 people killed in the charter plane crash on New Year’s Eve — was a senior member of the Connecticut-based fund’s research team.
Steinberg, 50, was also a graduate of Columbia Business School.
“The Bridgewater family lost Bruce Steinberg (a senior investor at Bridgewater and a wonderful man) and his family in a plane crash in Costa Rica. Right now, we are each processing this devastating tragedy in our own ways,” Dalio tweeted Monday.

I don’t think so - to me it just sounds like one of those horrible things like the tourist bus crash in Mexico a couple of weeks ago. The pilots were either not paying attention or were overloaded and not properly balanced (there was another US family on the plane as well) and didn’t clear the mountainside.
Sooooo....Comey worked at the same Hedge Fund where this guy worked!! hmmmmm

Bridgewater and that Comey majored in religion and wrote his thesis on exegesis.....mostly used to explain biblical texts.

Hedge Funds and Wall Street run America now. America is all about financialization, new ways of debt formation, and who has first access to cheap printed Federal Reserve dollars, and the best government connections.
So when a rich person’s plane goes down, its a high probability that person is somewhere in the Wall Street food chain.

* The two families on board were part of a tour group led by Amanda Geissler, the 10th American lost in the crash.
*The family from Florida included Drs. Mitchell Weiss, a vascular and interventional radiologist, Leslie Weiss, a pediatrician, and their two children (boy and a girl).
Maybe Whitewater was in the fund? Or Uranium futures?
That would explain a lot.
