It was 25 years ago today -- January 3, 1993 -- that Star Trek: Deep Space Nine premiered. The show, created by Rick Berman and the late Michael Piller, thoroughly polarized the fan base. It was so dark and so different in every way from either The Original Series or Star Trek: The Next Generation that many fans tuned in or tuned out, and loved it or loathed it… immediately.

DS9 was always my least favorite of the ST shows but out of boredom i decided to watch all 11 seasons in chronological order.
I actually liked it and was sad when it ended.

possibly. I don’t know the names or characters of all the spin offs. All I know is that they are ‘diverse’.
I don’t care if they have a version aimed at black people, a version for girl power etc. There’s a gay sounding android in one. I watched a couple of episodes of each way back when and there was more sjw emotional junk than a plot.
No danger of it being overwhelmed with viewers; certainly NOT this one, nor anyone else in my household while I am home.
The original Series, one of my all time favorites would never have enjoyed that status had it had overt gay couples,or even singles; No way.
Miraculously none of my three Children turned out gay...
I made it to season two and gave up on it. I could never get interested in it again. Love TOS and sort of liked the Enterprise series. TNG=PC crapola.
