BIL, working in Denver at the time, had a friend that had a co-worker (IIRC) disappear during that time. Nobody knew where he was.

This jives with everything my friends who did work for him have told me about their experiences. Umm, you might want to look up the meaning of a word before you use it.
I know that it's a common mistake among the uneducated, but there is no verb "to jive." Rather, you should have used the verb "to jibe" (= be consistent).

Well, the harmonic convergence did open that portal gate in Sedona, allowing that Medieval alien army to invade, until they were defeated by the AZ National Guard who pursued them back through the gate back to their home world.
I think the Japanese made an anime series based on it.
