Mixes with the oil on the road that is rarely washed off, but when it does, watch out. And they are so used to driving 90 on the freeways, they forget what hydroplaning means....
LA can’t afford to keep its airport facilities maintained, but just bring in a couple more thousand illegal aliens and the support money will flow like floodwaters.
The three retired guys were sitting around in Florida.
“Yeah - vandals broke in and busted everything in my store. I figured then just to retire from it all.”
“Heh - my auto-repair place that I had run for 40 years burned down. I took that as a sign to retire.”
“Wow. Talk about our bad luck! Back in 2016 when we had that two weeks of heavy rain and the river flooded out my warehouse - that was the end of it for me.”
The two other guys looked at him - “How the heck did you get it to rain for two weeks?!”
If it ever snowed a foot...in SoCal...there would be total chaos.............
A few years ago we had rain for about a week that was like buckets dumping. I was driving to Bakersfield from Ventura in it on I-5. I got behind a truck who was doing about 45 so I could drive in his grooves and a line formed behind me of other drivers doing the same. Every once in awhile a car would go zipping by doing 70 or more and then about a quarter of a mile up the road wed see the car off on the side after spinning out. It was that way all the way home. People here have no clue how to drive period. Bring in a little weather and its much worse.
Well Trump did remark during the campaign that he believed our airports were aging, falling apart, and in need of serious improvement, as much of our other infrastructure.
