Huma Abedin and convicted perv Anthony Weiner agreed Wednesday to finalize their divorce out of court, seeking to protect their 6-year-old son from an embarrassing public separation.
The agreement between the top aide to Hillary Clinton and the disgraced serial sexter serving a 21-month sentence came the same day their case was scheduled to be heard by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Michael Katz.
“In order to ensure the proceedings have a minimal impact on their child, the parties have decided to finalize their divorce swiftly and privately,” Abedin attorney Charles Miller said in a statement.
The judge confirmed from the bench that the case had been discontinued.
Matrimonial cases are sealed. The couple could re-file their divorce as “uncontested,” meaning they would not have to appear in court.
Susan Karten, a divorce attorney not involved in the case, said an uncontested divorce would allow Weiner and Abedin to keep details private.

One possible reason for delaying the divorce could perhaps be found in President Trump’s Jan. 2 tweet calling for Abedin to be jailed following the State Department’s release of classified emails found on Weiner’s laptop.

Mmmmmyeah....I can’t believe parents who love their children would live their lives the way Anthony and Huma have lived theirs. They would have neither the time nor the interest in anyone other than themselves. Sad.

Sorry, that ship sailed when the fact that Mr. Weiner sent pictures of his namesake to an underaged girl.
I feel sorry for this kid, he is in for a shock when he is old enough to search the internet for info on his parents.
