The Weeezy Arch
Will they be changing the name of their capital city as well?
Wait till these moron find out that America was named after Amerigo Vespucci, a cartographer who owned a slave.
At some point, we’re gonna have to draw the line with the insanity caused by the mental disease known as liberalism. They will eventually endanger us to the point of our destruction. They need to be dealt with before that happens. Lots and lots of rope is the only known cure for it.
No problem. We can rename back to original names following CW II and the guillotining of all liberals.
All liberals.
All.

Blunt is one of the good guys...cant imagine why hes doing this.
What are they going to do about that?
Wait, I thought this would be some city/state thing? Blunt is a U.S. Senator. He can't possibly think this will pass the United States Congress, or that Congress would care to take this up at all in an election year (or really, any year in the foreseeable future.)
F these AH’s
If you stood with the left during their anti-Confederate hysteria, you have no room to complain now. That was always the opening shot, the low-hanging fruit in their long-term war against American history. After they're done there, it'll be Texas Revolution figures (Sam Houston) and Andrew Jackson, then onto Thomas Jefferson and Christopher Columbus, and then finally figures such as George Washington and really any other Founding Father that ever owned slaves.
I see some coward GOPers still wage war on the South instead of their democrat colleagues who were responsible for most of the bloodshed
I am really sick of this politically correct, ideology based revisionism. This is totalitarian Big Brotherism if there ever was any.
Maybe we can have those senators’ names scrubbed from history.
They should rename St. Louis as well because it’s named for a crusader who killed African people.
They can’t fix things just by removing a name. They have to take the whole arch down.
Jefferson is not my favourite founding father I dont like his support of the bloody French Revolution, but he deserves credit for the Louisiana Purchase, the Lewis and Clark Expedition and the spur to Westward Expansion.
No nation will have a future when it erases its history.
