Places like Passaic, Paterson are now crappy school districts now. Sad, very sad. They used to be nice cities.
They all fell apart when the jobs left; I described on another thread working decades ago with great older blacks from the South who had moved to Newark in the 60s. As they were still working, they were fine; their children and grandchildren were totally screwed up. It was very sad; the low-skilled jobs left, and the whole society fell apart.
