Too old for DACA, man who spent 30 years of his life in U.S. is deported (media sob story)

DETROIT — His arms wrapped around his wife and two teenage children, Jorge Garcia's eyes welled up Monday as he looked into their eyes one last time near the entrance to the airport security gate.

His wife, Cindy Garcia, cried out while his daughter, Soleil, 15, sobbed into Garcia's shoulder as they hugged, with two U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents keeping a close eye on them.

After 30 years of living in the United States, Jorge Garcia, a 39-year-old landscaper from Lincoln Park, Mich., was deported on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday to Mexico, a move his supporters say is another example of immigrants being unfairly targeted under the Trump administration.

An undocumented family member brought Jorge Garcia to the U.S. when he was 10 years old. Today he has a wife and two children, all of whom are U.S. citizens.

Jorge Garcia had been facing an order of removal from immigration courts since 2009, but under the previous administration, he had been given stays of removal. Because of the Trump administration's crackdown on immigration, in November Jorge Garcia was ordered to return to Mexico.

Bingo. He’s had 30 years and fully knew the consequences; he’s got no one to blame but himself.

An article last night said he had been voting. That was supposed to be the reason he was ordered out.

Should have gotten the boot 10 years ago. Or 30

If this guy and his family are unhappy with this situation, take it up with his criminal parents who created this illegal criminal activity.

Also, he is an adult, what exactly did he do to correct his illegal situation?

How did he function for 30 years without proper documentation?

If he had documentation, was it fake? (Isn’t that a crime?)

Did he have a Social Security card? How did he get one without a birth certificate?

Did he pay income taxes?

and on down the list.

Rather than sobbing, his family should have voluntarily gone with him to their beloved Mexico.

Yup, nobody stopping them from going home with him.

Notice the signs, "STOP SEPARATING FAMILIES?"

Nobody is separating this family but themselves.

Would the MSMLSD bunch cry if after thirty years of robbing banks the criminal was caught?

Illegal aliens cannot become citizens.
That’s why the Democrats and Bush League Republicans want amnesty.

“another example of immigrants being unfairly targeted under the Trump administration”

No, “unfair” would be to give certain illegals, like Jorge here, special treatment that is unmerited under the law. Deporting him like all the rest is quite fair.

And deporting an allegedly law-abiding family man

Hardly law abiding by immigration laws. You have to wonder how many different false/stolen SS numbers did he live under, file tax returns, register to vote, receive eintitlements-benifits or services, etc. did he use ?

“And deporting an allegedly law-abiding family man...”

He’s not “law abiding”. He is here illegally, and most certainly has committed identity theft if he has managed to work here for 30 years and raise a family.
