Great to see how hard Republicans are fighting for our Military and Safety at the Border. The Dems just want illegal immigrants to pour into our nation unchecked. If stalemate continues, Republicans should go to 51% (Nuclear Option) and vote on real, long term budget, no C.R.’s!

Even more, they knew of the 60 vote threshold.
As you clearly know, such “courageous” but meaningless votes tend to be allowed for those in purplish districts.
He’s not wrong. He’s doing the right thing. The others may be wrong, I don’t know.
There is no need to rush. Temporary funding can be passed. Paul just wants to get it right.
Paul is in favor of extending temporary funding while the details get worked out right. But democrats won’t even fund the government to February. They just want to cause trouble. They want the trouble to land on Trump.
McCain is a member of one of the branches of our government.... we should DEMAND an updated status on his health. No different than when they demanded a medical report on President Trump.
No way should we be left in the dark on his health. As long as he is a US Senator he has an obligation to keep us informed of his ability to perform his duty.
I wish him no ill will but if he is medically unable to perform his duty ... he should step aside.

It should be clear that the Senate’s current policy of “no-pain” FAKE filibusters hasn’t helped America.
So, IMHO, it’s time for Senator McConnell to demand a REAL filibuster.
I say let the Dems get hoarse standing before the cameras, trying to explain just WHY they prefer illegal immigrants to our military.
And let every Democrat lie and “talking point” be immediately refuted by a skilled Republican “debater”. I think Senator Cruz, for example, could use plain English terms to expose any word-games and fraudulent “thinking” that the Dems try to “sell”.
Such a REAL filibuster would end when the Democrats realize they have lost.
After that victory, I would hope our MAGA agenda can proceed without having to fight the un-patriotic drivel spewed by the so-called “resistance”.
This is why McTurtle needs to go nuclear. I think he's playing Schmuckie Chuckie. McTurtle should invoke the Nuclear Option by the end of the week if he is sure those four or five Democrats would vote for it.
The Democrats who voted to fund will not vote to fund if their votes will pass the bill.

If the Mexican Invaders started voting for Republicans, the Democrats would be demanding a wall higher than what President Trump wants and would want Marines posted on our side of the wall.

That wont work. Leave the government closed until the Dims surrender. We are not doing stop gap crap as long as the great Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and the others say no. We have two senators out sick so there is no way to get to 51 votes. That is a joke. Make the Dims apologize and vote for the full budget!! Let’s don’t get all wobbly here. This shut down could be months log. So be it!!

It’s like being against Trump, in my opinion. The pure gets in the way of the practical. We have no conservative future if we don’t guarantee the exposure of conservative voices. We can worry about pure later.

Actually, yes. It saved us from Hillarycare in 1993, and bought us 20 years of top-notch health care. It also forced Obamacare to be so screwed up that it’s on its deathbed.
Where it hasn’t helped is with the Supreme Court, but we’ve already put an end to that issue.
