Investigators in both House and Senate were stunned late Friday when, receiving a batch of newly-released texts between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, they also received notice from the bureau that the FBI "failed to preserve" Strzok-Page messages from December 14, 2016 through May 17, 2017.
Given the amount of texting that went on between Strzok and Page, who were having an extramarital affair, that probably meant thousands of missing documents.
A number of critical events in the Trump-Russia affair occurred between December 2016 and May 2017, including:
Conversations between Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
The completion and publication of the intelligence community assessment of Russian interference in the 2016 election.
The briefing in which FBI director James Comey told President-elect
Donald Trump about the Trump dossier. The president's inauguration.
The nomination and confirmation of new Justice Department leadership.
Flynn's interview with the FBI (conducted by Strzok).
Comey's assurances to Trump that he, Trump, was not under investigation.
A variety of revelations, mostly in the Washington Post and New York
Times, about various Trump figures under investigation.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions' recusal from the Russia probe.
The firing of top Obama Justice Department holdover Sally Yates.
Trump's tweet alleging he was wiretapped.
Trump's firing of Comey.
And, finally, on May 17, 2017 — the final day of the missing texts — the appointment of Trump-Russia special prosecutor Robert Mueller.

Congress should call to testify, UNDER OATH, the FBI technical systems STAFF LEVEL employees responsible for records maintenance and backup. They’re much less likely to lie and dissemble in their testimony. In other words, they’ll be more honest and it will be far more likely that the truth will be revealed.
I also hope that the IRS Inspector General will be on this like white on rice.
Imagine the Washington Post (Amazon Post) or the New York Times if a member of the Trump team was missing texts? Would they find that acceptable? LOL!
Irrespective of where he was from, he definitely was motivated by resentment and the desire to alter the United States irreversibly. What makes him dangerous is that he doesn't doubt himself, and is convinced his evaluation of US mistakes, US sin, and what needs to be ‘transformed’ in the US is correct. This allows him to justify doing things like weaponizing the intelligence agencies. When you're convinced you're on a rightly mission, it's too easy to rationalize doing unethical things.
They don’t need to preserve them.
The carriers are required to preserve them.
Suppeaouna who ever the wireless provider is/was.
Then demand the emails associated with them.
Then look at anyone who received their message after forwarding
Just a hunch, but I think there’s a whole lot more “missing” texts and documents. The trick now is going to be finding anything.

Don’t have too.. All agencies have COOP plans(emergency) and part of it is requirement of data back up all transactions/emails etc.. They can be retrieved... Plus I believe OIG already have them.

If McCabe and Rosenstein are not fired by midnight, then Trump no longer has any power as POTUS.
There has been a 30 year bipartisan plan to steal the country from the citizens by importing foreigners.
They are trying to make sure we are not allowed to elect anyone else who sides with the citizens and the rule of law again.
We stunned them throwing out their Majority Leader, Eric Cantor.
Trump had the wealth and fame to punch through the Bush blockade at the RNC.
They will make sure that “mistake” does not happen again.
They had previously only nominated amnesty candidates since the last amnesty. Intentionally.
It’s all about cementing the George HW Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) in place.
They desperately do not want US to be able to restore the rule of law and reverse the demographic changes they have instituted through non-enforcement of laws and borders.
They invited 30 million people here to change the country against the will of the citizens and they do not want US sending them home.
They will do whatever it takes to keep US from electing anyone who sides with the citizens and the rule of law.
What they really don’t want is for US to keep our country.
The final amnesty that would cement the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) into place has been sought repeatedly since 2006. They sold us Rubio to get the last one in 2013.
We have been prevented from electing anyone who would side with US and the rule of law by their control of the RNC and state parties.
The most important thing to the Uniparty is protecting the demographic changes they have made to the country against the will of the citizens.
That’s what drives the NeverTrump, the media and the Democrats hatred of Trump, it is an extension of their hatred of US.
Trump was elected to help US keep our country.
He really is our last hope.
