This is not a conservative victory: Trump and McC seem willing to permit DACA without the wall. Hope I’m wrong, but wall “authorization” is not “spending.”
Ending chain migration is more important than The Wall.
To save the working class in this country, we have to have all 4 of these:
-End chain migration
-Build the wall
-National E-verify
-End diversity Lottery
These are absolute non-negotiable minimums.
We also need many more immigration judges, an end to the anchor baby system, elimination of municipal/state sanctuary status, many more border agents etc. etc. etc.
Our current system is like time-release cyanide. It is certain to kill us if we don’t eliminate it completely.
"Seem" is the operative word. This outcome is a complete loss of face for the Dem leadership.
All Schumer was promised was a vote and floor time. Either way, whatever the Dems come up with, it’s not passing the House. They did polling over the weekend which showed them getting killed over it. Schumer blinked.
Some people suspect Democrats want to legalize DACA “kids” because they think theyll vote Democrat. If youre not certain why they think that, its because they assume that anyone who is still a kid at 36 has got to be a Democrat.

Trump has flipped the script on DACA and the wall. Going forward Trump will be able to paint any government shutdown as a Brian art choice between illeagles and Americans.
“Trump and McC seem willing to permit DACA without the wall. Hope Im wrong, but wall authorization is not spending.
No worries, you’re wrong.
You seem good at remembering a phony Rat talking point. That’s not reality.
If they were willing to do that, the Admin would have caved and not the Ds. All McConnell did was agree to talk about it.
Wall’s getting built.
More importantly: Showtime on The Memo.

I saw Mick Mulvaney on TV last night, and I think youll take comfort in his words. Its about a 13 minute segment, but worth watching.

Ive had personal dealings with Mulvaney, and I know him to be a man of honesty and integrity.
Btw, heres what I think is the relevant part of his interview for you. Please forgive my lack of html.
<<< MULVANEY: Full funding for the wall, no. What Mr. >>>

<<< for funding, not an appropriation. I know that’s deep >>>

Sarah said they’re going to insist on appropriation for the wall.
i want the wall built and e-verify enforced before any negotiations start.
