Where I live we have so many anchor babies who actually live in Mexico but we bus them to our schools. Everything is done with them in mind. You pretty much can’t get a job in the schools unless you speak Spanish.

I don’t think it is a joke but they say the 2nd best paying job in the border town near here is being a mother. They somehow manage to get lots of free stuff cuz their children are US Citizens.

Pretty much out of sympathy for parents who send their kids to government schools The problems are well known. Yet middle class and upper class parents send their kids to them anyway. Somewhere north of 85% of American kids go to government schools with the rest being homeschooled or going to private. It’s a welfare system and like any welfare system, it spawns it’s own sort of dysfunction.

Mass third world immigration in general is harmful to young Americans in many ways that older Americans, including most baby boomer aged conservatives, don’t really understand.

“...bragging on their claims that over 80 different languages are spoken in the area.”

Hmm - 80% is the number used by the big-city school district where our church is. A visit to the large grocery store is probably 10% white shoppers, so the 80% is believable. But I see you are in Iowa. 80 percent??? Maybe it is just a number that ALL schools put down on their propaganda to make them sound diverse and global.

They claimed over 80 different languages were spoken in the Cedar Valley.

I don’t know where you’re drawing any percentages from, it didn’t say anything about that.

What was galling of course was they made this claim as if it were an absolutely unalloyed good thing. This is always the tell - vague or ambiguous slogans or what some people refer to as “thought ending cliches”, witticisms that are generally designed to end debate.

People don’t think about things any more - they just regurgitate leftist talking points.

Can you point out what’s wrong with the following?

“We’re a Nation of Immigrants!”

“Diversity Makes Us Stronger”
