Why did you go to home Depot to begin with? After all according to you the quality of their wood and probably all their other stuff is crap right?
Good question.
There is a local mom and pop lumber yard in our small town. Their merchandise is all good, but their prices are higher.
All in all I bought over $1500 worth of fencing at Home Depot. I don’t know how much that same material would have cost me at the local mom and pop, but that’s not the point.
The point is - I bought the best material at the best price. I had to reject a lot of “scrap” lumber, but - oh well.
