Fairfax County, Virginia Sheriff Stacey Kincaid’s announcement she would cancel an agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to honor “detainers” for illegal alien criminals and arrestees has prompted pro-American immigration reformers to condemn the move for turning Fairfax into a “sanctuary county.”
In the affluent suburban Washington, DC county, criminals and arrestees who ICE believes are illegal aliens subject to deportation will no longer be held for up to 48 after their release date so federal agents can pick them up.
Virginia Republican U.S. Senate candidate Corey Stewart, who led an effort to force jails to report illegal alien criminals to ICE and help enforce immigration laws as a supervisor in neighboring Prince William County using ICE’s 287(g) program, issued a statement in response Thursday. “It is official — Fairfax County is now a sanctuary jurisdiction,” he wrote, continuing:
The very first time an illegal alien Fairfax releases to the streets commits a crime, these Fairfax office holders will be guilty of accessory to whatever crime that illegal alien commits — rape, murder, drug trafficking.
Fairfax’s disregard for the rule of law is astonishing, and under my watch as U.S. Senator it will not stand. The fact that Sheriff Kincaid had to go into hiding for a few days after this announcement tells you everything you need to know. They’re willingly quitting their job to try to win the votes of illegals.

This is why we didn’t move to Virginia. Or North Carolina.
We escaped Mexifornia, where the big liberal cities out-vote the small rural counties.
There’s not much for conservative folks to do, except move. And you never know if where you move to will be invaded with liberals or illegals either. I figure once this area becomes ruined, our choices for moving will be slim.
I saw that WV and ID are likely the only states to be majority white by 2050, if current trends continue. Both are beautiful as well. We chose Tennessee though, so we will see.
Wait until the first proven violation of the detainer agreement, then arrest the sheriff on federal charges.
We left Fairfax county in the early 1970’s.
Even then, in less than a decade, Fairfax county had gone from not conservative but moderate to liberal. Our property taxes increased each year at both levels.
There was a time in the early 70s that the Fairfax County Police were lovingly referred to as the Gestapo. What happened?
SCOFFLAW SANCTUARIES!
Virginia is the next California. They voted for this.And just like us here California, the will reap what the sow.

Yeah it’s changed so much during the last couple of decades.
Send Federal marshalls to her office, just like they sent them to Alabama when George Wallace defied US law.
Start arresting cops and judges on federal immigration charges in these sanctuary cities. ICE/INS/federal marshals can make the arrests.
Charge them with aiding abetting and human trafficking.
If a cop or judge lets an illegal walk, make them do a mandatory 10 year stretch in the federal pen.
Make these people think twice about turning a blind eye.
Better yet, have ICE set up shop in “sanctuary cities”, follow the cops around, and wait around in the courthouses.
If any cop or judge interferes with the identification or apprehension of an illegal, they get busted on federal felony charges.
Make the punishmemt for harboring illegals far worse than losing their job.
It is the residents who will suffer harm. Get an injunction.
How is it that a woman can get elected sheriff of a county? That kind of work sometimes involves hand-to-hand combat.
I am in Virginia but a bit west of Fairfax. It is creeping out like a canker. The libs get tired of living in the s**thole they created and move into the countryside but insist that it be like the place they came from. They need city trash pick up and more traffic lights. Pretty soon the their new home looks like where they came from and they are on the move again. Socialism on the march..
Same thing happening in the Richmond area.

We were married in Fairfax in 1971, back in the days when Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington and everything else up north was inhabited mostly by genuine Virginians. It was a very nice place to live, little parks, shopping malls, lotsa single family dwellings, easy traffic - very nice.
Today it’s a leftist rat race filled with elitist government employees and politicians.
This is a futile gesture on their part. Challenging the DHS.
Yeah it’s unfortunate. If I didn’t have family here I would move.
