The statement is contradicted by scientists across the globe, including those at NASA, who have said for years that greenhouse gases caused by fossil fuel pollution makes climate change worse and is contributing to an on average warming of the planet.

Bob Dylan put it well: "Don't put my faith in nobody, not even a scientist...."

I heat up and I can`t cool down!!!

“Abracadabra”

I heat up
I can’t cool down
You got me spinnin round and round
Round and round and round it goes
Where it stops, nobody knows
Every time you call my name
I heat up like a burning flame
Burning flame for desire
Kiss me baby with the fire get higher
Abara abracadabra I wanna reach out and grab ya
Abra abracadabra... Abaracadabra
You make me hot you make me sigh
You make me laugh you make me cry
Keep me burning for your love
With the touch of a velvet glove
Abara abracadabra I wanna reach out and grab ya
Abra abracadabra... Abaracadabra
I feel the magic in your caress
I feel magic when I touch your dress
Silk and satin
Leather and lace
Black panties with an angel face
I see magic in your eyes
I hear magic in your sighs
Just when Ithink I’m gotta get away
I hear those words that you wont say
Abara abracadabra I wanna reach out and grab ya
Abra abracadabra... Abaracadabra
Every time you call my name
I heat up like a burnin flame
Burnin flame for desire
Kiss me baby with the fire
I heat up
I cant cool down
My situation goes run around
I heat up I cant cool down
My situation goes burning down
I heat up I can’ cool down
My situation goes running down

OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

The author is being deliberately obtuse.

Trump is saying that the Earth has regular episodes of heating and cooling - and he's right.

In the recent long term, we had a glacial episode that began to end 20,000 years ago. We have had generally warming temperatures since then.

In the shorter term, we had a “Little Ice Age” of cooling temperatures that lasted from about 1400 to 1850.

For the last 170 years, we have been completely inside the temperature parameters for a normal warming trend.

By the way, when the Earth began to warm up 20,000 years ago, there was no increase at all in CO2 until 800 years AFTER the warming started.

Not only that, before Earth started to warm 20,000 years ago, CO2 reached a level around 180 parts per million, which might be an all time record low.

If CO2 had fallen to 150 ppm, there would have been massive plant and tree death, and massive death for most land-based animals.

I assume sea life would have faced extreme challenges, too, since most ocean food chains begin with plant plankton in the upper levels of the ocean.

Maybe Piers Morgan is unaware that climate change is the reason Chicago is no longer under a mile of ice.

The public schools were scaring us students in the 1970’s about the coming Ice Age. It was certain. It was our doom. We were evil for causing it.

Bunch of pathetic losers. They reshape language for their purpose. No different than the book 1984. Homosexuality is “gay”. There is unity in diversity. Abortion is compassionate. All lies...

Totally agree with you!!
It’s delightful watching our magnificent President making liberals/progressives apoplectic!!!

Hoping that some youtube links to his fist International interview conducted by Piers Morgan will soon be posted here on Free Republic.
The interview is being broadcast at this moment across the pond on ITV.

If I find something, I will share asap.

Love my President and praying for seven more glorious years of him MAGA!!!

I clicked on some article about the “time bomb in the arctic”. It’s the frozen soil that is getting warming - just waiting to release all the CO2. The guy is writing about the research tunnel the Gov’t has (since 1960) that goes down through the layers.

“Green grass is still preserved sticking out of a layer 20,000 years old next to a Mastadon skull....”

That one sentence there explains the entire global climate change thing. Yes - the climate DOES change, and it has been doing so for millions of years. (Or, at least 20,000 years based on that one sentence).

Huge mammals supported by lush green grass - in the arctic!!

“President Trump appeared to not have a basic understanding of climate science”

Appeared to whom? This is a subjective opinion.

Climate science? The only science under discussion is just political science.

They ask a bunch of “scientists” their opinions. And whatever the scientists’ opinions are, that’s what this “science” tells us.

And if other scientists disagree, well they must not be real scientists because scientists agree on global warming.

Sorry. Real science is not based on voting. It’s based on observations.

And what they call “climate science” has a mixture of data that does not support the popular claims of manmade global warming or, worse, is fraudulent.

That statement is contradicted by Hundreds of real scientist across the globe. Those that don’t resort to faking data to get the answers they want.

.
So far, since creation, there have been 6017 years.

All of that ice came from the high precipitation that resulted from the hot ocean after the Genesis 6 flood.

That green grass is 4000 years old, not 20,000.

The Antarctic continent was not always down at the pole, it moved there when the original single continent (pangea?) broke up into 6 pieces.

The areas where they connected are obvious if you study a globe for a few minutes.

Climate change exists, but it is not molecular level increases of CO2 that is driving it nor any human intervention that is the cause. The sun is and always has been the driver of climatic changes on this planet.

I live in the the largest metro area of Iowa.
Any time (I have been away for the day and come back) I come back into the metro area my car thermometer will see a 2-3 temperature rise as I arrive back in the metro from the countryside.

This is true in any metro area. So where are the locations where temperatures are measured? Airports and other metro areas.
Why is this heat island effect never discussed? Cities with all their asphalt roads and shingled roofs (both huge heat collectors), have grown out and around places where temperatures are measured.

Again why is this never discussed?
