Go for it...hike them enough to force companies to relocate into the south. When your only real job is coffee shop barista...go figure your tax tax revenue plan.

Critics see it as a money grab that won’t have any impact on climate change.

Actually any word one with a functioning brain can see that.

Under the wonder of Federalism as implemented by our Founding Fathers, they are perfectly free to do so.

Money will go to the homeless so they don’t build fires that add to global warming.

I think California has demonstrated the answer to that is forever.

The smart voters vote with their feet leaving the idiots behind to continue to collect welfare and a few productive people who can’t bare to leave that pay taxes.

Looking forward to the tax hike and the bleating that will be coming in those two (near) Communist states. Reap what you sow!

I agree. Why are FReepers complaining? If blue state hellholes want to commit economic hari-kari, go for it! Just don’t move and then demand that my state does the same.

It sure is fortunate that individuals and corporations have money for our benevolent and selfless politicians to confiscate, otherwise we’d all be doomed to be a bunch of fried eggs under the blazing sun!
