I have already been pushing the Department to review the classified referral memorandum to confirm the memo's classification markings so that we can release the unclassified portions as soon as possible. But now the Department has deferred to the FBI, and the FBI is falsely claiming that three of our unclassified paragraphs each contain the same, single classified fact.That is as of January 24, 2018.
Grassley issed a statement today too.

Yes, this top-secret and classified stuff is way out of hand. The memo that came out today was at first “Classified.” And we had to wait for over two weeks to jump through all the hoops to unclassify it. And, yet, there is not ONE SINGLE THING in that memo that pertains to national security and that the citizenry should not have know from day one!
They are using classification to break the law and then to hide the evidence of their wrongdoing. Nothing more.

Yep, thhere should be a steady drip, drip, drip release of info. Weekly for about 6 months would do the trick nicely.

I don't know what the Senate rules are regarding release of classified info, but imagine the process is similar to that of the House.
