#4. the name cody shearer has come up for another dossier

#5. Clinton campaign and the DNC paid Perkins Coie 9 million...how much for the dossier ? who knows ....who, from each entity, authorized the payments ? Whoever cut the checks knows who authorized him\her to do so. Nobody in MSM thought to chase that down ? Do DNC and Hillary campaign have to have accounting statements on expenditures ?

I’ll give you another question to ask:

This memo states that Carter Page was the person targeted. Was any other person associated with the Trump campaign included in the FISA warrant? If so, who? If not, how were other people’s conversations intercepted, identified and used?

two separate but linked issues. Carter Paige was a target of Russian intelligence recruitment in 2012. the original fisa warrant in 2013 was on paige. when paige became a foreign policy analyst for the campaign Obama/Clinton saw the perfect way to game the system.

"11. How many text messages per day does the average FBI employee send? If it's as many as Page and Strzok, how do they get any actual work done?"

You might also want to ask the question: Are there any rules in place that restrict the use of government-owned phones for personal use? Surely there has to be, but it looks like these two ignored them, and did what they wanted. How stupid are these two, to have exchanged controversial text messages, knowing that those messages would automatically be backed up somewhere else? About as dumb as Hillary Clinton having her own private server, and John Podesta using the word "password" as his email password.

“16. When are we going to see arrests?
17. Who is going to be charged? “

The treason conspiracy is breathtaking. We need military tribunals STAT otherwise it’s all over but the screaming and the dying.

45 Year DC Lawyer's Answers

1. Why did the DOJ and FBI want to wiretap Carter Page?

They wanted to hear the people Page was talking to, not Page himself. They knew they could never get authorization to tap Trump or anyone close to him, but by listening to Page, they hoped to hear his conversations with highly-placed Trump people.

3. For the FBI, Comey signed 3 applications, McCabe signed one. For the DOJ Yates, Boente, and Rosenstein each signed one or more. Why were different people the signers? Is that typical?

No, but don't know why.

6. Is Yahoo News considered to be a credible source by the FISA court? If so, why? What makes it credible in the eyes of the court? What other online sources are considered credible?

FBI swore under oath it was true, and judge believed them.

8. There was a lot of evidence concealed from the FISC. Whose decision was that?

Whoever produced the application for the authorization to tap.

10. Why were US taxpayers paying Page and Strzok, who seemed to be spending all day every day texting each other and, aside from plotting against Trump, doing no actual work?

That is far from unusual in DC.

12. What, specifically was meant by the “insurance policy” against President Trump discussed among Page, Strzok, and McCabe? Did this involve more than the dossier? Did it involve some other type of subversion or perhaps even an assassination attempt?

Unknown but that is a very important area of future investigation... but they will lie.

16. When are we going to see arrests?

See below

17. Who is going to be charged?

See below

18. What are they each going to be charged with?

Unknown now. Judge or judges who issued tap auths have almost limitless power to punish those, especially government law enforcement types, who swore falsely in their court.

20. What is going to be done to clean house?

?

21. Is someone working to identify everyone involved in these crimes? Not just those named in the memo, but all those who participated? And secondarily, all those who knew what was going on, but said nothing?

When Sessions is replaced as AG, it will begin quickly.

22. Is the FISA court compromised? Who were the judges who signed off on these warrants? Did they actually find probable cause or are they participants in these crimes?

They are probably clean. Perhaps not diligent, but not dirty. And remember, if the head of the FBI comes before you and swears something is true, that's a lot of horsepower.

More to come.

Ummmm. Live just outside the beltway and that's pretty much how many Fed employees work.

First noticed how Fed employees worked (or didn't) when I worked at a VA hospital 30 years ago. When you can't be fired, you can do what damn well please. Thank God at the VA about 20% of the staff worked their fannies off to get the job done.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet on the thread, but in the Nunes Memo, Point 5 on Page 6 states: "The Page FISA application also mentions information regarding Trump campaign advisor George Popadopoulos, but there is no evidence of any cooperation or conspiracy between Page and Popadopoulos. The Popadopoulos information triggered the opening of an FBI counterintelligence investigation in late July 2016 by FBI Agent Peter Strzok."

There's more in Point 5, but it deals with the affair between Strzok and Lisa Page, and Strzok's being reassigned from the Mueller investigation.

The memo is about 10-15 percent of what’s coming out. Perhaps later revelations will answer your questions.

#1 Why did the DOJ and FBI want to wiretap Carter Page?

According to the analysis at The Conservative Treehouse here:

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/02/02/inside-the-hpsci-memo-a-key-distinction-being-conflated-title-i-vs-title-vii/

the FBI requested FISA approval under Title I, which allowed them to surveil anyone Page came into contact with or was associated with, including everyone in the Trump campaign.
