India isn’t socialist and China is. On the other hand, China has some humongous hunk of US business. The IT market of India isn’t even close.

I’d still bet on India, which has religious freedom in principle if not always in practice (it’s hard to control mobs of angry fundamentalist Hindus), to best China in the long run.
