The House’s top investigator on Sunday said the FBI failed to notify a surveillance court it was relying on material funded by Democrats and the Hillary Clinton campaign when it asked to snoop on an adviser tied to the Trump campaign.
Rep. Trey Gowdy, South Carolina Republican and chairman of the House Oversight Committee, also said judges wouldn’t have authorized and repeatedly renewed a warrant to spy on the former Trump aide, Carter Page, if it hadn’t been for that very material, compiled by investigator Christopher Steele in a controversial dossier.
“They could have easily said it was the DNC and Hillary Clinton. That would have been really easy,” Mr. Gowdy told CBS’s Face the Nation, referring to footnotes in the agents’ request to the court. “It took longer to explain it the way they did, than if they just come right out and said, ‘Hillary Clinton for America and DNC paid for it.’ But they didn’t do that.”
Mr. Gowdy was involved in drafting a four-page memo by the House Intelligence Committee that details the FBI’s decision to rely in part on Clinton-backed material to spy on Mr. Page in October 2016. It also explores the role of top Justice Department officials in renewing those snooping powers.

That is a good question. I’ve thought them beyond reproach, but that seems preposterous now, especially with all the left-wing judges overruling a lot of what Trump does.

EXACTLY: If they had told the FISA judge the dossier was paid for by Clinton/DNC, would the warrant have been issued ?
Would the judge have turned them down or perhaps not ?

One quick statement saying we were duped would collapse the MSM/Rat push back therefore I expect they will end helping the rats when they finally do.
I am totally lost. Please forgive me but if the the FISA court was told who paid for the dossier would they have approved it? I would think not. So why the conversation about they could have told the FISA court that HRC and the DNC paid for it?

I wouldn’t doubt it, they’re corrupt as hell as well. Look at Obamacare, look at all the judges ruling against Trumps policies. Just about every area in our govmnt today has been infected by the Obama disease.
Elected demoncrats are spewing that the judge(s) was/were tpld who [paid for the fake material, they just didn’t bother to tell the court that they, the FBI knew the materials were fabrications from Fusion where Ohr -of the Justice department- Ohr’s wife was working to try and dig up any dirt on Trump. These enemy bastards were trying to orchestrate a coup using false evidence. They need to be hanged by the neck until dead, following a military tribunal for sedition and treason of course.

Only one member and one staffer could view the source documents from
which the memo was written.
I have dogged Gowdy often here.
However, Nunes picked the right man, with the unique skill set to view
and make notes from the original source documents.
In this task, he did much more than Kabuki Theatre.
EXACTLY: Why didn’t the judges ask about the origin of the document?
They’re fucking judges!
They ask questions to derive the truth and keep themselves out of jeopardy.
It’s what they do.
The judges better step up, deny knowledge and shut this down, or they are facing prison.
The media protects Obama right or wrong. They are programmed to follow party lines.
