Uniformed officer asked to leave 'gun-free' Outback Steakhouse because of service weapon

A uniformed officer carrying his service weapon was asked to leave an Outback Steakhouse restaurant because it is a designated “gun-free zone.”

Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency officer Andrew Ward went to Outback Steakhouse to have dinner with his wife Friday evening, he wrote in a public Facebook post.

Ward said in the post that a manager approached him and requested that he put his gun in his truck. Ward told the manager that he could not because he was in uniform and had to have his weapon on his person.

The manager left to make a call, Ward writes, and then returned to ask Ward and his wife to leave because Outback is a “gun free zone.”

You would think a place called Outback would understand the need for a gun at all times. Arizona is Constitutional Carry, no permit required to carry concealed, but sometimes your shirt rides up and some liberal gets all excited I have a gun.

“A manager made a mistake and we have discussed this with her."

Ok, I understand now... Feminist hate anything and everything that appears masculine... Firearms and police officers would certainly fall into that category...

Leaving without creating a ruckus was just right because then he got to report to the general public via Facebook.

Now Outback used to be a decent restaurant. Not any more. I think we all should stop going there.

Let’s “Targetize” it.

Surprise! The perpetually offended are once again ...offended.

FAKE outrage. These people must be challenged, shut down and humiliated for the idiots they are.

Officer: “Well, I’m going to keep my gun and order a steak, so you might as well call the police. Oh, I’ll likely get assigned to your call.”

Stupid Manager.....Later added that the policy doesn’t extend to Uniformed Officers and they have made amends....

Separate note, I carry concealed everywhere......and ignore signs.....Worst they can do in Georgia is ask you to leave if they see the weapon....Won’t give up my liberty or safety for anyone...

However, when I leave I pull aside the manager and send a email to their Corporate Headquarters expressing my dislike for their policy.

On the policeman’s Facebook he said there was a customer sitting across from him that said she was in fear for her life because police are going around shooting people, and demanded that she be escorted to her car.

In this particular case, you do realize that this guy is a game-warden...not an actual policeman...right?

You would think, after this happening so often, they would make the rules absolutely clear to managers in training.

And yet there were probably half a dozen people present in the restaurant who were carrying a concealed weapon.

My philosophy on carrying is “what they don’t see won’t keep them up at night.”

She’s escorted to the car? Does she always have someone escort her to her car whenever she sees a cop near by? Sounds like a left wing set up.

We stopped going to Outback after three times getting grissel instead of steak.

So someone with murder on their mind can walk in with the gun concealed and nothing said. If they see the gun then it’s a gun free zone, if they can’t see the gun, then it’s not. Liberals think laws and signs stop crime.
