He was not complaining about the lack of applause to his speech or him- he was complaining at the lack of support shown for this country. As he said we are under one flag, it is one country. If they don’t support things that are improving, things that we should be celebrating as Americans- then it does seem like they don’t support the country. There were many things in the SOTU they could have supported, without supporting him. They didn’t.

I don’t think the Democrats have supported the country for a long, long time- no matter who the President is- even when Obama was in office, constant stream of what is wrong with this country from the Democrats. I think they truly want to destroy the country and rebuild according to their wishes. People who truly love this country, are proud- and want to always improve. There is a difference between seeing issues that need work and seeing only the worst, none of the best.

He was complaining about the lack of applause.

As he said we are under one flag, it is one country. If they don’t support things that are improving, things that we should be celebrating as Americans- then it does seem like they don’t support the country.

Because they don't applaud him? Then does that mean during all of Obama's State of the Union addresses where the Republicans sat on their hands then were they not supporting the country either?
